Who?
Tove has always played the fiddle. Her father, Niels de Fries, was a traditional musician, her grandfather was a traditional musician... That is why Tove is one of the only musicians left, who had the folk music from the childhood. Tove is born an raised in the countryside of Jutland and there she played together with her father.
2002 Tove graduated as a folk musician from The Carl Nielsen Academy of Music in Odense. With her great knowledge and enthusiasm her ideas have left marks at the education where she is now teaching.
Moreover Tove is an active musician in other bands e.g. de Fries & D. Beck and she is also teaching folk music at several courses and schools.

Winner of Danish Music Awards 2004 as the best Danish Folk Instrumentalist.
